Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is author of many well-known American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which has been running since 2002. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and the budget. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and bought a tiny specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make the shop extremely successful before she closed the business. She then began to write her first cookbook. Numerous other books as well as magazine articles followed. A different hit was her Food Network Television show. Additionally, she sells items ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and equipment. Ina, who is self-taught she has never attended the culinary institute or at an establishment. Ina is known for her relaxed way of making food and hosting. Her most famous recipes are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
