Zoe-perry

Perry is the child of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first appearance was in television shows as Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in Roseanne, an ABC comedy Roseanne. Her parents, however, did not let her perform until she turned an adult due to the effects stress would have on their daughter. Perry shy and timid to perform in the school, began to perform in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. After graduating Perry went into New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought the actress back to California where she found theater work. She and her mother starred on Broadway together in The Other Place, in 2013. She appeared in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie and Kevin McKidd. This was presented at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry starred in nine episodes of ABC's drama The Family. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal, starring her dad. That same year she portrayed a child character based on Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) in which she played her mother in a younger version. The character was picked through an audition, even having a strong connection with it.
